Kidventure Early Learning Centre is looking for a dedicated, caring and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to be part of our growing Team.
Our Centre is looking for passionate Educators that are focused on the best possible outcomes for children. The applicant must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have proven leadership skills in the Early Childhood sector. Diploma and Bachelor Qualifications and a minimum of 2 years experience is essential.
The Role
You will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of children within your class. You will have a solid understanding of the NQF, NQS and Qld Kindergarten Guidelines. You must have the practical experience of being able to run a high-quality program.
You will be supported by an experienced team of professional educators. This support also includes access to management and leadership training to ensure your skills are continually updated, providing excellent career development.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:
- Have a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood (or equivalent)
- Have a Diploma of Childrens Services and studying an Early Childhood Teaching Degree
- Have a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood or be working towards completion.
- Must be able to meet the requirements of a Responsible Person / Certified Supervisor
- Working With Childrens Check - Blue Card
- Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Understanding of the NQF and NQS
- Understanding of and commitment to competency early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Kindergarten Guidelines.
- Effective skills in communication, time management and programming and planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff
